Kalev Pärn Rae Rahvateatrist astus publiku ette humoorika lühilavastusega “Kalal” – saime kõhutäie naerda! 🙂 Ja sõnu polegi vaja! 😉
Reedel astus teise esinejana üles LendTeatrit esindanud Anu Korela, kes on LendTeatris mitmes lavastuses mänginud – seekord tuli meie ette omaloomingulise näidendiga “Ümberistumine”. Kui kaugele peab reisima, et enda eest põgeneda?
Teater SEKAM esines seekordsel festivalil üles kolme lavastusega ning reedel saime näha neist kahte.
Esimesena oli laval Kelian Järv etendusega “Elutõed II”, mille on kirja pannud Annely R. Kallo, lavastaja, kunstnik ja näitleja Kelian Järv. Teater SEKAM´i lood on enamasti dokumentaalsed – nii ka seekordne. Lugu noorest neiust, kes oli valel ajal vales kohas ning kuidas see tema edaspidist elu mõjutas.
Teine SEKAM´i lavastus kandis pealkirja “Lõhn” – taas Annely R. Kallo sulest ning sedapuhku esitas loo Annely Kallo ise. Lavastajad Maarja Minlibajeva ja Annely R.Kallo.
Lõhnad ümbritsevad meid sünnist surmani, püsides vahel kauem kui mälu ise.
Reedel oli laval ka Margus Mankin Suure-Jaani näitetrupist “Tegeltkah” ning tema esituses nägime-kuulsime A. Tšehhovi kirjutatud lugu “Loeng tubaka kahjulikkusest”. Ehkki pealkiri viitaks justkui tervisealasele loengule, oli tegemist siiski pisut teistlaadi sisekaemusega. 🙂
Laupäeva hommikut alustas Romero Tamre. Algselt oli kavas varjuteatrinäidend “Sõber”, kuid tehnilistel põhjustel asendus see nukulavastusega “Vahva rätsep”.
Teater SEKAM mängis laupäeval lavastust “Nimi mu peas” – autor, näitleja ja kunstnik oli Angela Maiste, lavastajad Angela Maiste ja Annely R. Kallo.
Mis juhtub, kui minevik ära peita? Selline on Maija elu, iga päev, aastast aastasse – kuidas ta sellega toime tuleb ja mis juhtus?
Salme Teater Tallinnast osales festivalil M. Lermontovi poeemil põhineva lavalooga “Deemon”, mis on värvikas luuleline lugu armastusest, heast ja kurjast, maailma vabadusest.
Lavastaja ja kunstnik on Mari Rostfeldt, näitlejana oli laval Chris Kuningas.
TeaterEST on värske trupp, loodud pisut vähem kui aasta eest Soomes Espoos. Mängitakse eesti keeles, enamasti ka eestimaist repertuaari, eeskätt omakeelsetele inimestele Soomes. TeaterEST tuli Elvasse Monomaaniale Andrus Kivirähki lugudega “Kuus monoloogi raha asjus”.
Kuus erinevat persooni rääkisid rahast, ausalt, ilma ilustamata, igaüks oma vaatevinklist. Lavastaja Rein Kübarsepp.
Saaremaad esindas Thule Teater. Ja kui Saaremaal tehakse teatrit, siis on seal sageli Väino Uibo käsi mängus – nii seegi kord! 🙂 Thule Teater astus lavale Väino Uibo kirjutatud ja lavastatud monoloogiga “Hõissa, pulmad!”, näitlejana oli meie ees Katrin Paju.
Seasaare Teater osales festivalil J. Cocteau näidendiga “Inimese hääl” – laval oli meie ees Reet Raudsepp.
Lugu ise on pealtnäha lihtne – mahajäetud naine vestlemas viimast korda telefonitsi oma ekskallimaga. Naine üritab oma tundelaviini ja hirmutava üksildusega hakkama saada ning selle keskel ellu jääda.
Tekst on kirjutatud 100 aastat tagasi ning on ajaproovile hästi vastu pidanud.
Valka Linnateater on Monomaanial ka varem esinenud ja auhindu koju viinud. Sedapuhku tuldi lavastusega “Tahan minna Pariisi”. Autor Mihhail Veller, lavastaja Aivars Ikselis, laval näitlejana Vilis Danilovs.
Etendus unistusest, mis igaühel on oma. Lavastus räägib vajadusest unistada, isegi kui tee unistuse täitumiseni on pikk ja raske.
Leedust oli festivalil Vilniuse Kultuurikeskuse näitetrupp “Elementorius” lavastusega “Kontsert nr 1”. Näidend põhineb Jurga Ivanauskaitė novellil ning lavastaja on Eglė Storpirštienė, laval oli näitlejanna Saulė Sergedaitė.
Airé Pajur LendTeatrist tuli publiku ette lavastusega “Teine reaalsus” – vana õpetaja mure ja südamevalu.
Must stsenaarium, peegeldamaks hingekriipivat olukorda nii koolis kui ühiskonnas laiemalt.
Tanja Lääts esindas samuti LendTeatrit – seekord saime teda näha laval stand up-stiilis lustimas lavastuses “Ükskord oli nii…” Tema enda sõnul esimest ja viimast korda monolavastusega. Elame – näeme! 😉
Merili Viks mängis LendTeatris lavastuses “Ühesugune õnn” – seekord Monomaanial astub ta üles MTÜ Greitiva esindajana enda poolt kirjutatud monoloogiga “Aga mis see armastus õieti on?” – osa ühe noore neiu nägemusest armastusest.
Lõpmata suur tänu kõigile, kes ühel või teisel moel festivaliga seotud olid ja kaasa lõid – rõõm oli teiega kohtuda! 🙂 Kahe aasta pärast jälle – hakake juba valmistuma! 😉

This summary uses photos taken by Marko Hõrak. The recreational theater monoplay festival took place for the seventh time, but for the first time in the festival’s history, it lasted three days. Thank you to all the supporters, thank you to all the theater troupes and individual performers from far and near, thank you to the audience interested in theater, thank you to the expert jury, thank you to all the good friends who contributed to the success of the festival – without you this festival would not have taken place! Theater people and people who love theater – these are simply very special people! They have one thing in common – they are all terribly awesome people! 🙂 Thanks to our super awesome cafe (and the cafe organizer who made the impossible possible! ;D) and Pub 11 for catering to us. Unfortunately, ALL the invited and expected troupes could not come to the festival, but the BEST were there! 🙂
Kalev Pärn Rae from the People’s Theater performed in front of the audience with a humorous short play “Kalal” – we had a lot of laughs! 🙂 And no words are needed! 😉
On Friday, Anu Korela, representing LendTeatr, who has played in several productions at LendTeatr, appeared as the second performer – this time she came to us with her original play “Transformation”. How far do you have to travel to escape yourself? 
SEKAM Theater performed three productions at this year’s festival, and we were able to see two of them on Friday. Kelian Järv was the first on stage with the performance “Elutõed II”, written by Annely R. Kallo, director, artist and actor Kelian Järv. Teater SEKAM’s stories are mostly documentary – so is this one. The story of a young girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and how it affected her future life. 
The second SEKAM production was titled “Lõhn” – again by Annely R. Kallo, and on this occasion the song was performed by Annely Kallo herself. Directed by Maarja Minlibajeva and Annely R.Kallo. Smells surround us from birth to death, sometimes lasting longer than memory itself.
On Friday, Margus Mankin from Suure-Jaan’s drama troupe “Tegeltkah” was also on stage, and in his performance we saw and heard the story written by A. Chekhov “Lecture on the Harm of Tobacco”. Even though the title suggests a health lecture, it was an introspection of a slightly different kind. 🙂
Saturday morning was started by Romero Tamre. The shadow theater play “Sõber” was originally planned, but for technical reasons it was replaced by the puppet show “The Good Tailor”.
On Saturday, the SEKAM theater played the play “Name in my head” – author, actor and artist was Angela Maiste, directors Angela Maiste and Annely R. Kallo. What happens when you hide the past? This is Maija’s life, every day, year after year – how does she cope with it and what happened?
Salme Teater from Tallinn participated in the festival with the stage play “Demon” based on M. Lermontov’s poem, which is a colorful poetic story about love, good and evil, freedom of the world. The director and artist is Mari Rostfeldt, the actor was Chris Kuningas.
TeaterEST is a new troupe, created a little less than a year ago in Espoo, Finland. It is played in Estonian, mostly Estonian repertoire, especially for native speakers in Finland. TeaterEST came to Elva for Monomania with Andrus Kivirähki’s songs “Six monologues about money”. Six different personalities talked about money, honestly, without embellishment, each from their own point of view. Directed by Rein Kübarsepp.
Saaremaa was represented by Thule Theater. And when theater is made in Saaremaa, Väino Uibo’s hand is often involved – this time too! 🙂 Thule Teater took the stage with the monologue “Hõissa, pulmad!” written and directed by Väino Uibo, Katrin Paju was in front of us as an actress.
Seasaare Theater participated in the festival with the play “Human Voice” by J. Cocteau – Reet Raudsepp was in front of us on the stage. The story itself is seemingly simple – an abandoned woman talking to her ex-lover on the phone for the last time. A woman tries to cope with her avalanche of feelings and terrifying loneliness and survive in the midst of it. The text was written 100 years ago and has stood the test of time well.
Valka City Theater has also performed at Monomaania before and took home awards. On this occasion, the production “I want to go to Paris” came. Author Mihhail Veller, director Aivars Ikselis, Vilis Danilovs as actor on stage. A show about a dream that everyone has. The play tells about the need to dream, even if the road to the fulfillment of the dream is long and difficult.
From Lithuania, the theater troupe of the Vilnius Cultural Center “Elementorius” performed “Concert No. 1” at the festival. The play is based on Jurga Ivanauskaitė’s short story and is directed by Eglė Storpirštienė, the actress Saulė Sergedaitė was on the stage.
Airé Pajur from LendTeatr came to the audience with the production “Another reality” – the worries and heartache of an old teacher. A black script to reflect the heart-wrenching situation both in the school and in society at large.
Tanja Lääts also represented LendTeatr – this time we saw her having fun on stage in stand-up style in the production “Once upon a time…” According to her, it was the first and last time with a solo production. We will live – we will see! 😉
Merili Viks played in LendTeatr’s production “The same happiness” – this time at Monomania, she will perform as a representative of the NGO Greitiva with a monologue written by herself “But what is love really?” – part of a young girl’s vision of love.
According to the jury members, the competition was generally very strong (especially for female actors!) – there were several candidates to be recognized and highlighted. Making decisions was not easy at all!
